Warm up • Teacher repeats all the animals which were covered at previous lesson with students by using pictures&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; PPT 1 Flashcards&nbsp; &nbsp;

Середина урока

<p>Main • Slide: Teacher introduces the map and the flag of Kazakhstan. </p><p>Flag: - What colour is it? –Blue and yellow. </p><p> Today we will learn new words about nature resources. </p><p> • Teacher introduces with new words: the mountains, the forest, the plain, the river, the lake. Teacher should say a word and students should repeat after. </p><p> • TPR: mountain, river, lake, plain, forest. Then teacher just shows gesture and students should name the places themselves and also do the gesture. </p><p> • CLIL: Cover the map on the carpet. Teacher shows picture and introduces with the territory of Kazakhstan, shows where the mountains, forests, rivers and plains are situated. And name them (Alatau, Karatau, Zhayik, Ile, Esil, Shu, Balkash lake). Students should put the mountains, rivers, lakes and trees on the map according to the teacher’s direction. </p><p> • To teach prepositions of places: in, on. Teacher puts the postcard of the map of Kazakhstan on the carpet, and models of four places. And introduces usage of the prepositions putting the animals in the forest, mountain, river and on the plain. -Tigers in the mountains? –Yes. -Sheep in the river? –No, on the plain. </p><p> • Teacher puts the animals on the desk and students should take the animals they want, one for each student. </p><p> • Students should put the animals on according to the animals’ place of living. Live in Kazakhstan Don’t live in Kazakhstan Then learners should put the animals which live in Kazakhstan into the territory of Kazakhstan and others out of the territory of Kazakhstan. </p><p> • Then students should name them and say to each other. For example: Tigers live in Kazakhstan. Pandas don’t live in Kazakhstan. </p><p> • Listen and number the pictures. It’s a lake It’s a forest It’s a river It’s a mountain </p><p> • At the end of this activity teacher nominates students.
